"Celebrating the legacy of late Beam Master Distiller Booker Noe and the founding of his namesake brand three decades ago. Widely credited with the creation of the small batch movement... and celebrates not only the mark Noe left on the Beam family of brands, but the impact he had on the whiskey industry as a whole."The 30th anniversary is made by combining a ratio of 70% of a 9 year-old-whiskey and 30% of a 16-year-old whiskey. Both are uncut and unfiltered. The release is bottled at 125.8 proof and was overseen by 7th Generation Master Distiller, Fred Noe. Additional information from Booker's:
"Tasting Notes: The taste profile of this bourbon is lighter than most batches of Booker's, with a quick, dry finish that does not overpower your palate, and offers robust notes of vanilla and oak from the mingling of whiskies present in this release.
Sipping Suggestions: Booker's 30th Anniversary is best enjoyed neat, over ice or with a few drops of water."Save up your Christmas money because the Booker's 30th Anniversary has a suggested retail price of $199.99 for a 750 mL bottle. This is currently not listed on the Ohio Division of Liquor Control website as being sold or available in Ohio, which again begs the question, why we have this antiquated system for liquor sales.
