Bourbon Scam Alert - The Oak Wood Barrel Company

The Kentucky Attorney General has issued a scam alert regarding an online company called the Oak Wood Barrel Company using the website OakWoodBarrels.com claiming to be located in Lexington. Per the Attorney General:

'OakWoodBarrels.com claims that “The Oak Wood Barrel Co.” sells bourbon, craft beer and spirit barrels that are ready to ship worldwide, yet three victims, two from out-of-state in Kansas and Virgina, say they paid more than $650 for barrels they did not receive.'

In a fun twist, the Attorney General misspelled Virginia on the press release (copied verbatim above). However, in all seriousness, if you have been impacted by this scam, you can contact the Kentucky Attorney General at 888-432-9257 or visit ag.ky.gov online.
