Our Take
I did a full write up on this release when it was announced in September. In that announcement, I was hesitant to recommend because there wasn't price information given. Now that we have that information, ($149.99), I'm still hesitant to recommend this raffle. At this price point and for an unproven bourbon, if this is something you are interested in, you probably have decent odds of winning the raffle. For context, the Kentucky Owl raffle that happened on October 3rd had the following odds:
Location | Bottles | Entrants | Odds |
O'Bryan's Wine & Spirits | 54 | 76 | 71.05% |
Joseph's Beverage Center | 36 | 38 | 94.74% |
Hill's Market | 60 | 85 | 70.59% |
Chagrin Valley Beverage | 54 | 84 | 64.29% |
I would expect a bit higher turnout for this so your odds will probably be lower.
If you end up going and grabbing a bottle, drop a note in the comments with your thoughts.
