Woodford Introduces 2020 Kentucky Derby Bottle

In news near and dear to my heart, Woodford Reserve has introduced their commemorative bottle for the 146th running of the Kentucky Derby.

Woodford Reserve is the presenting sponsor of the Kentucky Derby and this bottle represents the 21st collectible rendition for Woodfood.

This years bottle features the work of Louisville artist Richard Sullivan, a former minor league player in the Atlanta Braves system and features a watercolor image of thoroughbreds as they head toward the finish line, with the Twin Spires of Churchill Downs in the background.

Woodford Reserve Master Distiller Chris Morris states: 

There is a poetic beauty in this year’s bottle because Richard Sullivan, the human athlete, is celebrating the equine athlete

The one-liter bottles of Woodford Reserve Bourbon will be available for purchase across the United States and the globe. This bottle has traditionally been available in Ohio and carried a $39.99 + tax price in 2019... I'm expecting similar this year.
