Michter's Master Distiller Dan McKee states:
I just love Kentucky style rye because it has not only great spice, but also the richness and the balance that comes from having a fair amount of corn and malted barley in the mashbill. And I think the 2020 release of our 10 Year Rye is an outstanding example of Kentucky style rye

My Take
Like last year, this is a tough sell for me. $160 is a lot to pay for a single bottle without much information provided on what differentiates this from anything else. For example, WhistlePig also has a 10 year rye that retails for $99.99. I'd be more inclined to try that before splurging for this release. I'll say the same thing I said last year.... If you're a huge Michter's fan and want to splurge, this could be the spirit for you, but for everyone else, I think this will be a pass.
