This month I posted 8 articles. The site saw over 26,000 page-views. Down from the previous record of 28,998 views set in September and up over 190% from the 8683 views in November of 2019.

Heaven Hill Announces 2020 Release of Parker’s Heritage Collection

Heaven Hill Distillery has announced the 2020 release of the Parker's Heritage Collection. The Parker's Heritage Collection is where Heaven Hill innovates with new techniques. It is named for the late Heaven Hill Master Distiller Parker Beam, who was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease) in 2010. A portion of the proceeds from each Parker's Heritage bottle sold is given to the ALS Association. 

Heaven Hill Announces Fall 2020 Edition of Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond

Heaven Hill Distillery has announced the Fall 2020 edition of Old Fitzgerald Bottled-In-Bond. Like the Spring 2019 release, the Fall 2020 edition bourbon that was produced using bourbon that was barreled in 2005 making this a 14 year bourbon (the 2019 was a 13 year). 

Maker's Mark Announces "CommUNITY Batch"

Maker's Mark has announced a new release in partnership with the LEE Initiative Partners titled "CommUNITY Batch" with 100% of the proceeds supporting the hospitality industry. For those unfamiliar (myself included), The LEE (Let's Empower Employment) Initiative was founded in 2017 by Lindsey Ofcacek and Edward Lee and aims to address issues of equality and diversity in the restaurant industry by implementing programs to directly support people in hospitality.

Angel's Envy Releases 2020 Cask Strength Bourbon

Angel's Envy has announced the release of their limited-edition release of Angel's Envy 2020 Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Port Barrels. The distillery has produced 17,400 bottles for release. 

First Annual BB/BS Big Night of Bourbon 2020 Recap

I had the privilege to attend the First Annual Big Brother/Big Sisters of Delaware County Big Night of Bourbon that occurred on Friday, November 13th. The event was capped at 300 participants and quickly sold out. 

Elijah Craig Announces Toasted Barrel

Heaven Hill brand Elijah Craig has announced a new expression called Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. 

Autumn OHLQ Bottle Lottery Results Announced

The 2020 Autumn OHLQ Bottle Lottery results have been announced. Winners were notified via email, however, you can check your entry here. Sadly, there was one Mark R. on the list, but it wasn't me so my unlucky streak continues. 

Beam Suntory Announces New Brand 'Lineage'

Mega conglomerate Beam Suntory has announced a new premium whiskey called Lineage created by seventh-generation Beam Family Master Distiller, Fred Noe, and his son, Freddie. This new spirit will be available exclusively in global travel retail in early 2021 (more on this later).
