Angel's Envy Announces $8.2 Expansion to Distillery Tour in Louisville

For any Ohioian's looking to head to Louisville in the future, Angel's Envy has announced an $8.2 million dollar expansion to their Distillery Tour experience with an expected completion date of Spring 2022. The expansion will add over 13,000 square feet to the location highlighted by a new event space and bar, a larger retail space and several new tasting rooms.

Angel's Envy Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer Wes Henderson says:

Since opening the doors to our distillery in 2016, we've been so fortunate to see an increased demand from guests hoping to visit us and take part in tours, experiences and classes. This expansion will double the number of fans we're able to meet and raise a glass of Angel's Envy with throughout the year. We're proud to call Louisville our hometown and contribute to its continued growth by creating new jobs for Kentuckians and offering a new reason for people to visit downtown and the Kentucky Bourbon Trail as a whole.

All told, this new addition will increase annual guest capacity by 64,000 by adding five new tasting rooms an event space and full catering kitchen, and a dedicated room to bottle your own bottle of certain distillery-exclusives. The distillery will remain open to the public throughout the construction process.

My Take

While I've never been to the Angel's Envy Distillery Tour, it's never a bad thing to add capacity. If you're in the Louisville area, this is another great opportunity for a unique bourbon experience.
