Welcome to the Columbus Bourbon review for Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. This review was requested by one of my wonderful readers (Joe G.) who scored a bottle at Jungle Jim's in Cincinnati.
Unique to Blade and Bow is the key around the bottle. If you collect all 5 keys, you can send in a picture of them and they put your name on a cup in a room with all the other cups at the old Stitzel Weller distillery.
Blade and Bow is produced by Stitzel-Weller, which also owns the I.W. Harper and Orphan Barrel brands.

The Ohio Division of Liquor Control (OHLQ) has announced a collection of Jefferson's Reserve Limited Edition bottles at select OHLQ locations available the week of May 16th. The selections are single-barrel selection of Jefferson’s Reserve Old Rum Cask Finish, Jefferson’s Reserve Pritchard Hill Cabernet Cask Finish Single Barrel, and Jefferson’s Reserve Twin Oak Single Barrel
The James B. Beam Distilling Company and Fred Noe, the James B. Beam Distilling Company's 7th Generation Master Distiller, announced the appointment of Freddie Noe as Master Distiller of the Fred B. Noe Distillery.
Luxco (which operates as MGP's Brands Division) has introduced a new brand and whiskey called Alias Straight Rye Whiskey. The whiskey is distilled at Luxco's Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
In a Facebook post in early April, Barton 1792 Distillery announced they will cease public distillery tours effective June 30th of this year.
